Give a little to help a lot
Zakat al-Fitr is a special charity we give to help everyone have food and new clothing on ‘Eid al-Fitr, our three-day feast that concludes the month of Ramadan.
When you give Zakat al-Fitr to SSC, on the 20th day of Ramadan we distribute it to community members in the U.S. whom community leaders have told us are in need.
Our beloved guide (may Allah preserve his secret) recommended each head of household give $15-$25 per family member.
